SELECTED WORK / CONFIDENTIAL MALAYSIAN GLC

From a complex operating picture
to a clear next move.

Solvnex conducted a whole-of-organisation digital transformation gap analysis, creating a practical roadmap for an ambitious growth agenda.

The engagement is anonymised. It focuses on the work, the scale of the assessment and the direction of the proposed transformation, not the client’s identity or underlying operational data.

THE BRIEF

Make the current state visible.

The organisation needed a clear view of its operating reality: where processes were fragmented, where teams relied on manual work and where systems were limiting timely decisions.

Solvnex was engaged to map the gaps across people, process and technology, then turn those findings into a roadmap leaders could use to prioritise transformation.

WHAT WE ASSESSED

Evidence before investment.

  • 126 SOPs and 25 job descriptions reviewed to understand how work moves across the organisation.
  • Existing systems and their hand-offs evaluated for duplication, integration gaps and information flow.
  • Process performance examined through total lead time, manual touchpoints and process cycle efficiency.

WHAT THE ANALYSIS REVEALED

Transformation begins where friction is felt.

The findings showed that the organisation’s growth ambition was being constrained by disconnected systems, manual processes and limited access to timely, useful information.

Rather than treating these as isolated technology problems, the roadmap connected operational improvement with capability, governance and decision-making.

01 / PEOPLE

Knowledge needs to move, not stay in silos.

Opportunities centred on clearer collaboration, capability development and practical change support for the people doing the work.

02 / PROCESS

Manual work needs a better path.

The analysis surfaced opportunities to simplify hand-offs, strengthen process ownership and remove work that does not add value.

03 / TECHNOLOGY

Information needs one reliable home.

The roadmap prioritised connected systems, stronger data foundations and analytics that support more confident decisions.

THE RECOMMENDED DIRECTION

Build the capability to keep moving.

The proposed portfolio was designed as a phased transformation programme: improve the foundations, connect the organisation and extend the value of data over time.

Its combined potential was a 54% reduction in lead times, supported by fewer manual touchpoints and a more reliable source of operational truth.

01

Strengthen the foundations.

Make processes, governance and core information easier to trust and operate.

02

Connect what matters.

Reduce fragmentation across systems and create a more joined-up operating view.

03

Use insight to evolve.

Build the analytics, AI readiness and delivery rhythm that sustain progress.

A NOTE ON THE EVIDENCE

Results should be clear about what they mean.

The 54% figure is a projected lead-time improvement from the recommended transformation roadmap. It is not a realised performance result or a guarantee. Client identity, baselines, detailed process metrics, vendor recommendations and source presentation materials remain confidential.
