The Solvnex talent platform connects organisations with verified Gig Professionals for short, well-defined projects. It is operated by SOLVNEX DIGITAL SDN BHD (Registration No. 202101026823 (1427123-P)) as part of the Solvnex talent business line.
Choose the agreement that applies to you:
- User Agreement for Business users: for organisations and individuals who post projects and engage Gig Professionals.
- User Agreement for Gig Professionals: for individuals who offer their services and complete projects.
Both agreements include the Code of Conduct and the Privacy Policy.
Platform fees at a glance
- Business users pay a platform fee of 15% of the Project Fee, on top of the Project Fee.
- Gig Professionals pay a platform fee of 5% of the Project Fee, plus SST on that fee where it applies, deducted from the payment they receive.
For example, on a Project Fee of RM1,000, the Business user pays RM1,150 and the Gig Professional receives RM950, less any PERKESO contribution. Where SST applies to a platform fee, it is added to the Business user's fee and deducted with the Gig Professional's fee (at 8%, RM4 on the Gig Professional's RM50 fee, so they receive RM946).
For each Project, the Business user issues the appointment letter and is the contracting entity for the Gig Professional under the Gig Workers Act 2025.
These agreements apply to gig work on the talent platform only. Solvnex consulting, software development and Progress Sprint engagements are not covered by them. They are governed by the proposal or engagement agreement signed with Solvnex for each engagement, where Solvnex is the contracting party and the fee is the project price stated in that agreement, not the platform fees above.
